   Nunito, served from this server.
   ───────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Every page in this system asked for Nunito from fonts.googleapis.com — 102
of them. The farm runs on a LAN with no internet, so that request never
completed and every page quietly fell back to whatever generic sans the
device had. The design was written for Nunito, so the fallback made the
whole system look slightly wrong everywhere, in a way that was hard to name.

These are the same files Google serves, fetched once and kept here. Two
   subsets only:

latin English, and the ASCII the farm actually types
latin-ext the accented characters Chichewa place names use

Cyrillic, Greek and Vietnamese are not downloaded — they were about half the
payload and nothing here writes in them.

Both files are VARIABLE fonts covering weights 400–900 in one download, so
this is 74 KB total for the whole family rather than six separate files.

font-display:swap means text paints immediately in the fallback and
re-renders when the font arrives, which on a slow tablet is the difference
between a readable page and a blank one.
